Getting ready for college can feel like a big adventure—but you don’t have to do it alone! Our counselors are here to help you every step of the way, from exploring your options to hitting “submit” on your applications.

 

Start with testing: Take the PSAT, SAT, or ACT to show off your academic strengths and open up scholarship opportunities.

 

Check out colleges: Visit campuses (in person or online!) to see where you feel most at home. Talk to students, explore programs, and picture yourself there.

 

Apply early: Get your applications and essays ready, and remember to request your transcripts and recommendation letters in plenty of time.

 

Find financial help: Complete the FAFSA, look for scholarships, and learn about grants that can make college more affordable.

 

Play your sport: If you want to compete at the college level, register with the NCAA or NAIA Eligibility Center and reach out to coaches early.
