Hi!
My name is Kimberly Burnside, and this is my first year at Lampasas HS, but my 11th year in education. I graduated from Texas Lutheran University where I majored in Kinesiology and minored in English. I also was a college athlete and a part of FCA. I have taught English I, II, III and IV and have been in the SPED world for all subjects, but English is my absolute favorite. I was at Burnet for the last 6 years. I also am the head XC coach and head girls' soccer coach. I am married to the head boy's soccer coach (Sam Burnside). We have a little boy named Wesley who will be 2 in October. We are a big sports family, but our favorite team is the Packers -- GO PACK GO!
I absolutely love watching kids grow and learn in the classroom. I love hearing what is next for them in life and getting to be a small part of their journey!
