STAAR
The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) are a series of state-mandated standardized tests used in Texas schools to assess a student's achievements and knowledge learned in the grade level or course.
High school students must pass the 5 End-of-Course exams (Algebra I, English I, Biology, English II, and US History) in order to graduate from high school. The STAAR EOC exams are administered three times a year: Summer, Fall, and Spring. Please see LHS Testing Calendar for specific dates.
