TSI
TSI (Texas Success Initiative) is a test to help colleges determine if you are ready for college-level course work in the general areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. All incoming college students are required to take the TSI unless they are exempt. The TSI is a computer adaptive multiple choice exam. This means that the number of questions and level of difficulty change with how you respond to the questions. The test is untimed and you will receive your results immediately.
Pre-Assessment Activity Information:
Before you can take the TSIA2, you must complete a pre-assessment activity. This activity will include information about the test and a few sample problems. This must be done only once. You do not have to do it every time you take the TSIA2. To complete the pre-assessment activity, you must create an account with the practice app at: https://practice.accuplacer.org/login. When you have completed the pre-assessment activity, please email proof of completion to Lori Weinheimer at weinheimerl@lisdtx.org
You may have a copy of your score report emailed to you through the student portal at: https://studentportal.accuplacer.org/#/studentisr
Sending scores to colleges
Most colleges have a form on their website that you will complete to give them permission to pull your scores from the TSI testing database. Below are direct links to common schools for LHS.
Central Texas College- email score report to academic.advising@ctcd.edu
